JDA Welcomes First-Ever Cohort of MBA Interns
What happens when four MBA students land in NYC for the summer, step into the fast-paced world of JDA, and dive into the real business problems of shaping process and infrastructure in our TTLA tax program?
We’re about to find out.
This summer marks the launch of JDA TSG’s inaugural MBA internship program—a hands-on, high-impact experience designed to give rising business leaders a front-row seat to how we scale, solve, and serve.
The idea was sparked earlier this year when our CEO, Alex Mortman, returned to his alma mater to speak with undergrads and MBA students. Inspired by their curiosity, talent, and hustle, Alex came back with a simple conviction: JDA has something real to offer these future leaders—and they have something real to offer us.
So, we built it. Not an internship in name only—but an eight-week challenge with actual stakes and strategic value.
This summer, our four interns will work cross-functionally to tackle one of JDA’s most important operational opportunities. They’ll map workflows, define performance expectations, build SOPs, and help shape the infrastructure needed to scale our fastest-growing line of business.
As Alex put it: “This isn’t a simulation or a side project. This is the real thing—and it has the potential to drive how we grow not just TTLA, but every service line we support.”
